Meira Nawal's classes are held at The Jones Center for Families in the Aerobic/Dance room (No. 401) of the gymnasium complex. At this time, classes are only taught in English.
Belly Dance I Classes |

Tuesday Evenings 6:00pm-7:00pm This class starts in September and goes through November. It is an introduction to the art of Middle East dance. This class focuses on beginning movements, posture, and basic costuming. This class is being taught by Ngaio and is open to ages 12 and up.

Belly Dance II Classes |

Tuesday nights 7:00pm-8:00pm This class starts in September and goes through November. It is a continuation of Belly Dance I with more emphasis on advanced movements and the use of props. Students will be required to have zills and a veil for this class; information on buying zills and veils will be given in the first class. This class is being taught by Ngaio and is open to students who have completed Belly Dance I and with instructor approval; ages 12 and up.

The fee for each class is $10.00 per semester and it is non-refundable.
The Jones Center has begun to charge fees for the facilities. One of these fees is a registration fee of $5.00 per class, or an annual fee of $25.00 for as many classes as one cares to take. This must be paid to the Jones Center before you come to class. The instructors DO NOT take this fee; you pay it to the Jones Center at the front desk.
Inclement weather policy: If Springdale area schools are closed we will not have classes. If it is a Saturday, call the Jones Center to see if they are open.
Note: When you leave the aerobics room you MUST wear shoes and your
abdominal area must be covered. This is a request from the Jones
Center.
