Jones Center 2008Hafla 2008Walk for CommUNITY 2008MeadowsShimmy Fest '08Down On Main StreetRogers '08Shake it For the CureHeritage Day '08Springfest '08

Shimmy Fest was another great year of learning.  Friday night was a fabulous workshop on double veil and Saturday was wonderful Egyptian, Lebanese, and Turkish combonations and Drum Solo.  Aradia is such a great teacher and a very sweet person as well.  The stage show was awesome as always!

The Down on Main Street festival in Noel, Missouri was hotter than blazes, but the generosity and hosptiality of the wonderful people in Noel made it all worth it.  They are always such a great audience and they let us know how much they appreciate our shows.  I think because of this it has become one of our favorite venues.

Even though this was our third year to perform at the Rogers International Festival it felt like the first time since there were new organizers and a new location.  The main thing that didn't change was how much fun this venue is.

This year saw our second road trip to Buffalo, Missouri where they attended a workshop taught by Naima of Springfield, MO and we performed at the Shake it For the Cure evening show.

After a few years of not being able to perform at the VA's Heritage Day we returned, and this year we were even able to take more dancers than ever!
(photos coming soon)

As always Springfest kicked off the performacnes for the year, and if this show was any indication we will be having a lot of fun this year and we hope you will be able to come out and see us.
