At Shimmy Fest we had a great time at the sword workshop Friday night.  Then on Saturday Princess Farhana sent us through the paces with veil work, shimmies, freezes, and undulations.  Of course the stage show was the perfect end to a fabulous weekend.

Meira Nawal and Desert Fire did a joint show at Fayetteville Arts Festival sponsored by the Fayetteville Downtown Partners.

2005 Heritage Day at the Veteran's Hospital was a small show that Adira and Anala did together.  They had a great time doing their solos and a duet, but they also enjoyed given the audience information about the history of the dance, music, and costuming.

This was one of our best shows at Springfest.  We did two troupe routines that our beginning students mastered beautifully.  Bahijah and Ngaio did excellent solo routines as always, even though Ngaio had to fight the wind during her veil solo.  And Adira and Anala Rabari made their solo debuts.

During Spring Break 2005 The Jones Center for Families hosted activities every night and the week ended with a fabulous International Festival with great food, Irish Step Dancers, Salsa Dancers, and Meira Nawal!
