Meira Nawal was asked to perform at Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) for their International Festival.  We had a great time performing for the students as they sampled various cuisines from several countries.

Bahijah Rashid taught a workshop on choreography at Shimmy Fest.  Later at the stage show she gave a great solo piece and Meira Nawal  performed the Drum Solo.

At Springfest Meira Nawal was scheduled to perform at 11:00 am, but it was raining so hard the sound equipment could not be used and the morning events were canceled.  However, the Desert Fire dance troupe, based in Fayetteville, graciously offered to share their afternoon time slot with us so that our beginning students wouldn't miss the chance to perform for their first time.
